Barcelona
A seaport on the Mediterranean and host of the 1992 Olympic Games, Barcelona is the capital of the autonomous region of Catalonia in northeastern Spain. International House Barcelona has more than 30 years of experience teaching Spanish to foreigners and training Spanish language teachers. Its training courses are certified by the University of Barcelona. Since 1991, IH Barcelona has organized Spain’s largest annual conference for Spanish teachers.  IH Barcelona has extensive experience organizing programs for American teenagers. The school also teaches English to local community members, providing Spanish language students the opportunity to meet Spanish speakers right on campus.

Located in the heart of the Iberian Peninsula, Madrid is Spain’s capital. Here the modern mixes with the historical in a city that offers a wide range of cultural and artistic highlights. Near Madrid lies the Royal Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, an impressive palace and monastery complex built by Philip II and considered one of the eight wonders of the world. The Aranjuez Royal Residence, a former royal retreat, is nearby. UNESCO has declared both World Heritage Landscapes. The beautiful city of Alcalá de Henares, a World Heritage Site, is a short hop away.

  Salamanca
The city of Salamanca, World Heritage Site and Cultural Capital of Europe in 2002, is known for some of the most beautiful historical and architectural landmarks in Spain.  The Plaza Mayor, the plateresque style of the Cathedral, the facade of the University, and the Church of San Esteban are just some of its must-see sites.  The city is situated along the famed Silver Route taken in the early Middle Ages by the Al-Andalus Mozarabs to make pilgrimages to Santiago de Compostela. It is also part of the Castilian Language Route, which includes the most significant locations in the cradle of Castilian Spanish and its evolution throughout Spanish history.

BColegio Delibes

Colegio Delibes is a private school where Spanish as a foreign language has been taught since 1997. Receiving more than 3000 students per year in its only school located in Salamanca, it has become a model school in the sector of the Spanish language in Spain. It offers Spanish courses in reduced groups of 10 students maximum, 10 levels and daily extra-class activities. Students’ accommodation is a very important part of our programme. Students can choose to live with host families, student residences or apartments, hotels or studios.

  • Services: A library, a hall with 16 computers, an industrial kitchen for cooking lessons, a video and conference room, coffee and snack area, an interior patio with a typical castillian well.   San Sebastián
Surrounded by lush green mountains overlooking the Bay of Biscay and the Cantabric Sea, the beautiful northern city of San Sebastián is located near the Pyrenees, one hour’s drive to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. The city is home to must-see monuments and breathtaking landscapes, ample leisure activities, and a superb cuisine. It is not only the site of the prestigious San Sebastian International Film Festival, but is also considered a surfer’s paradise!

A LACUNZA IH SAN SEBASTIÁN

Lacunza – International House (IH) San Sebastián is the most prestigious language school in San Sebastián and is attended by more than 1,000 students a year. The main objective of Lacunza – IH San Sebastián is to help students make the best use of their time to improve their Spanish communication skills. At the same time, it strives to make its student’s experiences memorable. To this end, Lacunza – IH San Sebastián organizes cultural activities and visits to sites of interest in the Basque Country. The school also offers tutoring programs and maintains close contact with host families.

This school offers:
