The Spanish Language Program for High School Students at Quality-accredited Schools is organized by Eduespaña and sponsored by the Education Office of the Embassy of Spain in Washington D.C.
Each participating student receives a $400 scholarship (already deducted from the program cost); the total price indicated is the net amount due to Eduespaña.
Benefits for accompanying teachers
Teachers chaperoning groups of 12 students receive lodging and three meals per day, the right to participate in extracurricular activities organized for the students, and a certificate of participation from the school.
Teachers chaperoning groups of 18 students receive the above-mentioned benefits, as well as the following sums of money to defray travel expenses:
- From the East coast: $ 800
- From the Midwest: $ 950
- From the West Coast: $1,100
Those funds will be paid to the teacher by the host school once the teacher arrives in Spain.
